The Antifreeze Working Group works with the Antifreeze Coalition in Washington, DC to develop management standards with
regulatory agencies. The Working Group participates with ASTM in developing specifications. Members review state regulations affecting antifreeze and research new technologies.

The ASTM Working Group works with the various sub-committees of D02, the ASTM committee that oversees petroleum product
specifications, to ensure that these specifications are friendly to recycled products manufactured by our members, especially E.1 fuels/general, E.7 Marine Fuels and P Recycled Petroleum Products.
Recycled Filter & Absorbent Working Group Chair: Rick Adams Coordinator: Sandy Hunt Current Information
The Recycled Filter & Absorbent Working Group collects data on the industry, develops regulatory positions on recycling
of filters and promotes filter recycling. Members review state regulations affecting filters and research new technologies.
Re-Refining Working Group Chair: Dale MacIntyre, Safety-Kleen Coordinator: Sandy Hunt Current Information
New in 2000, the Re-Refining Working Group is focusing on public education and quality standards.
They plan to produce materials that will promote the use of re-refined oil.
Wastewater Working Group Chair: Dave Brown, United Wastewater Services Coordinator: Sandy Hunt

The Wastewater Working Group is focusing its efforts on the re-proposal of CWT guidelines. This group developed
comments submitted to US EPA. Members analyze processes and technologies.
